About Dragon Boat
Phuket Dragon is a partnership between Mike Downard and Bill Handley
both keen and experienced water sportsmen.
Bill is one of Britains most experienced Dragon boaters and has been the
leading light in London for almost 20 years. Bill has been master of
ceremonies at the UK's biggest events and knows how to galvanise teams
and to keep everyone on task and enjoying their day out.
With Bill in control or at the helm we have an experienced and steady helm,
whatever the size of the regatta.
Mike is Bill's on water safety specialist, and is principally a yachtsman with
an interest in dragon boats.
He is the admin side of the operation in Phuket Thailand. |

Our international Dragon Boats were only brought in from China 12 months ago and in that time we
have run community events, fundraiser and an International Regatta as well as Corporate Regattas
and team building for overseas clients.
The Phuket Dragon Boat Club is new and is intended to promote the sport in Phuket
at no cost or very low cost.
