About Phuket Dragon Boat

Phuket Dragon is a partnership between Mike Downard and Bill Handley both keen and experienced water sportsmen. Bill is one of Britains most experienced Dragon boaters and has been the leading light in London for almost 20 years. Bill has been master of ceremonies at the UK's biggest events and knows how to galvanise teams and to keep everyone on task and enjoying their day out. With Bill in control or at the helm we have an experienced and steady helm, whatever the size of the Regatta or Corporate Event.

Mike is Bill's on water safety specialist. Mike is a dragon boat trainer and is an Outdoor Education specialist teacher with over 25 years in the industry. Mike has developed the Phuket and Bangkok Dragon Boat websites and is currently developing a new site in Bangkok for water activity, principally Dragon Boating, for International Schools, for Corporate Team Building and for the MICE industry in Thailand..

CLUB DRAGON BOAT REGATTAS

This activity will be run by The Phuket Dragon Boat Club. The future regattas will involve teams from all over Phuket Island and we hope this includes teams from the Temples, The hospitals, the government workers and the schools to mention just a few.

This is Phuket's biggest FREE team building activity and is a fun filled day activity on a beautiful landscaped lake. Call us if you think your group or team would like to be involved in this easily accessed sport.
