Phuket Dragon Boat Club - What We Do

The Phuket Dragon Boat Club is an association of dragonboat clubs based in Phuket. Currently there are three teams in the club. The Rawai and Nai Harn Dragons, The Ao Yon veterans and The Panwa Dragons. The Rawai and Nai Harn Dragons meet every Sunday and new members are welcome.

The aim of the Phuket Dragon Boat Club is to establish teams who wish to race and train using dragon boats and to promotre the sport on the island of Phuket. Any tean can be formed on the island. Teams use the dragon boats for FREE.

The Dragon Boating Activity is currently at Rawai Beach but in the next few weeks the boats will be transported to be permanently located on the island in the middle of Nai Harn Lake. Sunday Dragon boating will be organised by the committee of the Nai Harn Dragons.

Membership is open to all Phuketians and the aim is to get local teams involved in the sport and enjoying the peace and tranquility of this splendid lake while also enjoying the physical and aesthetic enjoyment of paddling. If you have a team who want to learn to paddle contact us. We will assist you by providing FREE training to get you going. All teams are welcome so if you want to join let us know.

Phuket Dragon Boat Club is a community based resource which is formed to promote the sport of Dragon Boat Racing and training for all. Phuket Dragon Boat Club is for the community and aims also to do charitable work.

If you or your friends wish to participate in this fun activity contact us and we will arrange everything you require and give you a chance to join in.

DRAGON BOAT REGATTAS

This activity suits groups of over 80 persons and can be run by The Phuket Dragon Boat Club.

The future regattas will involve teams from all over Phuket Island and we hope this includes teams from the Temples, The hospitals, the government workers and the schools to mention just a few.

This is Phuket's biggest team building activity and is a fun filled day activity on a beautiful landscaped lake. Call us if you think your group or team would like to be involved in this easily accessed sport.
